General Information:
In the summer, please enjoy our paddle boat or canoe or simply relax beside the water in our newly landscaped waterfront garden. A joy to behold, it presents various patios decks, patio tables, including an area with a firepit illuminated with oil lamps, and there is a B-B-Q for visitors too.
In winter, enjoy the pristine whiteness of the gardens and try our snow shoes and walk out to the lake. If you bring your cross country skiis you may enjoy using the lake or Tudhope Park. 'Track set' skiing at Horseshoe Valley or Hardwood Hills is less than 30 minutes away.
At all seasons we have wireless highspeed internet for your convenience.
Betty and Tony enjoy welcoming first time customers and returning friends, who make up 50% of their visitors. They strive to give a memorable experience which will convince them to travel the 'B&B' route always. Therefore Betty and Tony maintain a friendly, sociable atmosphere and give fantastic breakfasts. They ask you to choose from their ten item breakfast menu before retiring.
With 80 foot on the water and complimentary boat docking, Betty and Tony's has many attributes of a resort so clients can sit out and fish, swim, or watch boats go by. There are a canoe and pedal boat to use on their branch of the Trent Severn Waterway, plus bikes to borrow for use on the waterfront trails in Tudhope Park close to the house. Roller blading on the trails is excellent. There is plenty of space. You are not restricted to your bedroom or suite! At Betty and Tony's you can make your room choice from three freshly decorated and unique rooms. The Queen Suite has a queen bed, en suite bathroom and a wall mounted cable LCD TV with DVD player. The King Suite has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom and a wall mounted cable LCDTV with DVD player too. The third possibility is the Twin Suite with twin extra long beds, a cable TV, DVD and VRR, and a private full bathroom across the hall with tub and shower with grab rails.
This house has central air conditioning, sound insulation between the rooms, plenty of free parking and lots of hot and cold City Water (and sewers). In 1986, it was designed and built by Betty and Tony for their eventual retirement.
A 42" Panasonic Plasma TV is above the fireplace in the newly furnished Library where there are books, discs, and videotapes.. In the Snuggery, furnished with rattan furniture, is an antique buffet with complimentary CHOCOLATE CAKE and a guest fridge. The main Great Room is where guests can sit and enjoy the view over the back garden and the water, should the weather be inclement. Betty and Tony invite guests to join them there for tea, coffee or companionship if they so wish. Betty and Tony's is a smoke free, candle free environment and in the house they have a Chocolate Labrador, Bailey who likes to play or take guests for a walk. We ask guests to inquire about bringing their pets.
If you are traveling on the Trent Severn Waterway, tere is docking here. If we are full, you can still dock here and walk to the Best Western Couchiching Inn.
There is always much to do in the area from hiking and exploring the lakes and parks nearby to taking in the shows and excitement at Casino Rama. Betty and Tony's is fun in the sun and nice in the ice. We do have our own waterfront. It is fun to visit at any season of the year!

New landscaping done in 2005 , 2006, 2007 and 2008 - come and see it! There is a new entrance, new pond, a terraced area beside the water and a new water wall with decks on top. All quite changed! See one of the photos above.
